The Sweet Home Junior High seventh-grade football team finished 1-4-1 after tying their first game and beating New-
port 35-6 in their second game. "It was the first year for a lot of the kids and we were smaller than most of the teams,"
Coach Cory Ottre said. Although the Tigers lost their last four games, he said none were blowouts. "These kids were
polite kids, they were good kids. They are going to play well together through high school, I think." Team members
