Report taken. 10:59 a.m. - Caller reported finding a bicycle in his backyard, 1700 block of Elm. Officer responded and returned bicycle to owner's father. Nov. 18 1 a.m. - Caller reported that someone broke into his father's house, 1300 block of 19 'h. Father and brother chased the subject away. Officer responded. The subject seemed confused and thought he belonged there. Officer checked area. Unable to locate but would be on the lookout. 12:38 p.m. - Josiah Michael Van Amburgh, 33, cited for speeding, 53-35, Main and Pleasant Valley. 6:52 p.m. - Kyle James Elmer, 21, arrested on Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief (owes two days in jail), 1110 Nandina St. Transported to Linn County Jail. 7:03 p.m. - Caller reported that someone entered her vehicle during the morning and stole $I 10 in property, 400 block of Highway 228. Report taken. Nov. 17 7:07 a.m. - Angela Diane Heimbuch, 25, cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, Main andd 12 th. 8:59 a.m. - Rhonda Lee McGovern, 36, cited for speeding, 53-35, Main and 22 "a. 10:25 a.m. - Skip Davis Marler, 37, cited for speeding, 65-45, Main near 57 th. 1:10 p.m. - Caller reported his Playstation 3 was stolen about a month ago, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken. Value approximately $200. 6:11 p.m. - Caller reported a theft, 610 block of Main. Report taken. degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported the theft of$116.55 in groceries. Nov. 15 12:11 p.m.-Banned substances were found in the parking lot, 605 Elm St., Oak Heights Elementary School. Substances seized to be destroyed. 4:32 p.m. - Caller reported that someone broke in and items are missing, 1700 block of ninth. Report taken for theft and criminal trespass. 8:52 p.m. - Callerr reported that someone came into the store with a counterfeit $20 bill wanting to exchange it for a real one, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Officer responded. Bill seized. Investigation continuing. Firefighters responded at 3:32 p.m. Thefire caused about $5,000 in damage. A wood stove got hot and ignited wood that was piled nearby.
