REQUIRED to appear and defend the com-
plaint filed against you in the above entitled
cause within thirty (30) days from the date
of service of this summons upon you, and in
case of your failure to do so, for want thereof,
plaintiff will apply to the court for the relief

CAREFULLY: The Plaintiff has filed a lawsuit
against Defendants, in which the complaint
seeks to quiet title of certain real property and
declare Plaintiff as the fee simple owner of
that real property and enjoining Defendants
from asserting any claim in the real property.
The property in which title is being quieted
is described in the records of Linn County
as Beginning at a point which is North 20.46
chains distant and West 9.49 chains distant
from the point where the South boundary line
of Section 31, Township 11 South of Range 2
West of the Willamette Meridian, Linn County,
Oregon crosses the East boundary line of the
Donation Land Claim of James Taltman and
wife, the same being Notification No. 1185,
and claim No. 63, in said Township and
Range, thence West 238 links to the Eastern
boundary line of the right-of-way of the Wood-
burn and Watson branch of the Oregon and
California Railroad Company; thence South
24 ° 20' West along the Eastern line of said
right-of-way 136 links to the Northern bound-
ary line of the right-of-way of the Lebanon
branch of the Oregon and California Railroad
Company; thence South 65 ° 30' East along
the North boundary line of said right-of-way
325 links, to a point due South of the place
of beginning; thence North 257 links, to the
place of beginning, all lying and being situate
in the County of Linn and State of Oregon.

be given to the court clerk or administra-
tor within thirty (30) days of the date of first
publication specified herein (the date of first
