he was assaulted at Chewy's about
an hour earlier, 1200 12th Ave.
Officer took report. Investigation-

10:44 a.m. - Justin Lee Smith,
31, arrested on Linn County warrant
for failure to appear on original
chargeg of recklessly endangering
another person, possession of
meth and fourth-degree assault
and charged with possession of
meth and a schedule IV controlled
substance, 1303 Long St. Cited and

3:31 p.m. - Officer located
wanted subject', 13th and Main.
After foot pursuit, officer unable
to locate subject. Report taken for
resisting arrest.
5:32 p.m. = Bobbi Jo Henson,
32, cited and released in field for
third-degree theft, 1540 Main St.,
Safeway.
5:58 p.m. - Caller reported
that the neighbor's children keep
getting into his mailbox, and now
he is missing a box of checks,
4300 block of Nandina. Juveniles
counseled.
6:44 p.m. - Two-vehicle crash,
Main and 12th. No citations. No
injuries. Drivers were Keith Lynn
Hunnemuller, 44, and Judith Anne
Moulton, 70.
7:12 p.m. - Caller reported
seeing two cougars on the rodeo
grounds near the ticket booths:
Officer responded and saw two
cougars just as they walked into
the tree line. Oregon Department of
Fish and Wildlife notified.
8:03 p.m. - Karen Marie
Schultz, 41, arrested fol: felony
fourth-degree assault (domestic
violence), 381 W. Pine St.
Transported to Linn County Jail.
11:41 p.m. - Caller reported
that he was just assaulted by two
males. Officer responded and
contacted caller, who did not know
the male subjects who assaulted
him. He declined medical attention
and did not wish to pursue criminal
charges.
Aug. 30
6:14 a.m.-Callerreported adeer
that had been hit and was flopping
around .on the sidewalk, 3200 block
of Main. Officer responded and
dispatched deer. Oregon Department
of Transportation advised.
7:57 a.m. - Caller reported that
a transportatiort trailer had been
damaged, 1540 Main St., Safeway.
Report taken. Approximately
$1,000 in damage.
11:13 a.m. - Jesse Allan Cox,
40, arrested on Linn County warrant
courts. Addresse~ |isted ~pica!ly indicate the l~afion of the incident
or of the arrest, but S may indicate the origin of the call
for failure to comply on a traffic
citation and cited for driving while
suspended, Lakeside Market. Cited
and released.
11:21 a.m.-J.J. Lee Purcell, 20,
arrested on Sweet Home warrant for
failure to comply on original charge
of third-degree criminal mischief,
Eugene. Cited and released.
9:55 p.m. - Caller reported
a male on a bicycle tried to play
chicken with his vehicle as he
was driving on Main, 4100 block.
Officer unable to locate male.
11:30 a.m. - Leonard Eugene
Scott, 53, arrested on Sweet Home
warrant for failure to comply on
original charge of second-degree
criminal trespass, Medford. Cited
and released.

2:45 p.m. - Caller reported
vandalism, 948 Main St., car wash.
Report taken.
4:23 p.m. - Kiely Jo Brown,
25, arrested for third-degree theft,
1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and
released. Caller had reported theft
of $1.50 item.
9:20 p.m. - Caller reported that
his bike was stolen while inside,
1501 Main St., Speedee mart.
