Huskies hold Green-Gold Scrimmage Friday night Sweet Home High School football fans get a chance tosee this year's football team in action this Friday, Aug. 24, at Husky Stadium in the Green and Gold Game. The Huskies will play a scrim- mage at 7 p.m. Coach Dustin Nichol said ju- nior varsity players Will go against each other for 12-15 plays on of- fense and defense, and then the varsity will run 25 to 30 plays. "All plays are going to be scripted," he said. "It's not like we're playing a' game. Each play will be individual. It will be a con- trolled scrimmage. We're just go- ing to open it up to the public." Admission is $2. A barbecue dinner fund-raiser for the program and will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair, sit on the track and enjoy the event. The meal, which costs $5, includes a choice of hot dogs, burgers, a drink, chips and a cookie. (
