conditions.
5:53 p.m. - Caller reported that
he just caught two males in one of
his vehicles. 1400 block of 47th.
They left on foot and were last seen
on the railroad tracks. Report taken
for unauthorized entry into a motor
vehicle and theft of $800 to $1,000
in items.

draulic bottle jacks, value $25 each;
one gallon of gasoline: and battery
and cables from lawn tractor, value

about to start.
Sweet Home Fire and
Ambulance District respond-
ed to a grass fire near the old
mill site at the east end of
Green River Road, off Clark
Mill Road at about 3 p.m. on
May 9.
The fire started two days
after a resident had burned a
debris pile. Calderwood said.
The fire had smoldered unde-
tected during those two days
and then flared up.
"Keep aware of the old
debris burns for rekindling as
conditions change." he said.
Fire season is likely to
begin as usual on June 16. he
said.
