taken into custody for third-degree
theft, 621 Main St.. Thriftway.
Released to parents.
5:29 p.m. - Caller reported
someone entered his apartment while
he slept and stole a safe and other
items. 1200 block of 23rd. Officer
took report for first-degree burglary
and first-degree theft.
6:32 pm.-Randy John Unsinger,
42, arrested for third-degree assault.
1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police
Department. Transported to Linn
County Jail.
7:24 p.m. - Caller reported
somebody hit something with a
vehicle, pushed it into his driveway
and ran off carrying beer, 60th
Avenue at Edgewater RV. Vehicle
had hit center divider on 60th. Report
taken.
8:20 p.m. - John Alan Decarlo,
33. arrested for hit and run, 1400
block of 60th. Cited and released.
11:42 p.m. - John Edward
Davis, 47, arrested on Sweet Home
warrant for failure to comply on
original charge of fraudulent use
of a credit card, Malheur County.
Transported to Linn County Jail.
April 28
12:49 a.m. - Caller reported
that she would not respond to males
at location who tried to talk to her,
and then the males vandalized her
vehicle. 2405 Main St., Circle K.
Officer responded. Caller did not
wish to pursue charges but wanted
males counseled. Officer counseled
males.
1:58 a.m. - Caller reported sister
was chasing male subject in a gray
hoody and ski mask. The male was
just inside her mother's house. 1900
block of Willow. Officer responded
and took report. Caller believed it
may be the same person who was
inside the house the night before,
when the door lock was broken.
Officer unable to locate but would
continue to be on the lookout.
8:29 a.m. - Christine Lynn
Severns. 60. cited for speeding, 63-
45.6000 block of Main.
11:03 a.m. - Caller reported that
someone had shot at vehicles with a
BB gun. 150 Main St. Officer took
a report for second-degree criminal
mischief Damage estimated at $400
to $600. with holes or dings in the
windshield possible from BBs.
11:29 p.m. - Caller reported
that someone entered her vehicle and
stole WIC vouchers, 1530 Tamarack
St., Mountain Shadows Trailer Park.
Report taken for unauthorized entry
rote a motor vehicle and third-degree
theft.

5:16 p.m. - Christie Rose
Gilbert. 27, cited for dog as a public
nuisance, 4610 Main St. Caller
reported child in park was just bitten
by a dog. Animal was quarantined.
5:34 p.m. - Caller reported
approximately 20 fraudulent charges
on her account, 1950 Main St., Sweet
Home Police Department. Charges
occurred out of state. Caller advised
of her options.
7:37 p.m. - Travis Alan Combs,
32, cited for driving while suspended,
driving uninsured and failure to carry
proof of insurance, 5353 Locust St.
9:14 p.m. - Dena Renee
Childers, 51. cited for driving while
suspended, driving uninsured and
failure to carry proof of insurance,

6:41 p.m. - Caller reported that
her tires were slashed. 1800 block of
Tamarack. Report taken for second-
degree criminal mischief. Damage
estimated at $12.75.
11:11 p.m. - Timothy Ray
Reynolds. 57, arrested on Linn
County supervisory warrant for
failure to report for incarceration
on original charge of second:degree
burglary (owes five days m jail),
2000 block of Main. Transported to
Linn County Jail.

9:08 a.m. - Caller reported theft
of sprayer worth $500 from barn
in the past 10 days, 40600 block of
McDowell Creek.
10:38 a.m. - Stolen Kenworth
semi truck recovered 39800 block of
Highway 228. Driver's window was
smashed. Vehicle had been hotwired
and wiped down. Vehicle returned to
owner, who had reported it stolen on
April 19. The incident remains under
investigation.
11:31 a.m. - Caller reported
theft of flag, 1500 block of Main.
Report taken for flag valued at $80.
11:56 a.m. - James Weedmark,
45. arrested for second-degree
theft and violation of restraining
order, 41900 block of Marks Ridge
Road. Caller had reported theft of
Craftsman chainsaw and a can of
mixed gasoline. Total value was
$205.
12:23 p.m. - Caller reported
shoplifter caught on tape taking $19
worth of items, 30141 Main St.,
Hoy's Hardware.
5:48 p.m. - Caller reported
three or four young juveniles
pulling up flowers at St. Francis
Episcopal Church. 341 Eighth Ave.
Officer contacted four juveniles and
responsible party for the church. The
responsible party did not wish to
pursue charges. Officer contacted all
parents, who advised that juveniles
would not-go back on church
property.
April 24
12:25 a.m. - Jason L.
McKibbins, 20, arrested for felony
fourth-degree assault, strangulation
and minor in possession of alcohol
by consumption. 3224 Main St.
Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:30 a.m. - Thomas Daniel
Elmer. 41. arrested on Linn County
warrant for felon in possession of a
firearm, 3137 Main St. Transported
to Linn County Jail.
8:48 a.m. - Caller reported that
someone pried the lock off of the
garage, 1700 block of 12th. Report
taken for attempted second-degree
burglary and criminal mischief.
Caller had confronted subject at
about 6 a.m. as he was prying the
hasp off.
10:50 a.m. - Caller reported
that her debit card had been used
for $573.2I without authorization,
Sweet Home area. Information
noted.
5:40 p.m. - Caller reported
a male shoplifter, 2405 Main St..
Circle K. Officer took report for
theft of $8 in value.
7:13 p.m. - Caller reported
what sounded like four gunshots in
the area, 300 block of Ironwood.
Officer contacted several people and
narrowed down the area. Checked
area and listened for other noises.
Unable to locate.
April 23
8:31 a.m. - Caller reported that
money from her Social Security
check was stolen, 41200 block of
Highway 228. She used the card and
found at that it was overdrawn by
$400. Deputies investigating.
2:02 p.m. - Caller reported male
subject going door to door selling
cleaning products and acting shady,
28th and Foothills. Officer contacted
male and advised him he needs to
get a peddler's permit.
2:12 p.m. - Caleb Daniel
Connell, 24. turned himself in on
Linn County warram for failure
to comply on original charge of
second-degree disorderly conduct.
1950 Main St.. Sweet Home Police
Department. Transported to Linn
County Jail.
3:12 p.m. - Christopher Loi
• Standeford, 27. cited for violation
of city ordinance, 1270 Evergreen
Lane. Caller reported male going to
door to door to wash carpets.
3:13 p.m. - Caller reported
subject lost sheet rock off truck at
18th and Main. Caller followed
subject and talked to him about it,
but the subject said it would break
up anyway and did not go back to
get it. Officer contacted mentioned
vehicle, drove back through the area
and was unable to locate anything in
roadway.
4:07 p.m. - Cassandra Ann
Kuhns. 22, cited for following too
closely in two-vehicle crash, 22nd
off of Main. Second driver was
Theodore Wayne Hiner Jr., 35.
5:02 p.m. - Caller reported theft
of Oregon Trail card. Card used
at Wal-Mart in Albany for $85.98.
Report taken.
6:31 p.m. - Caller reported
finding a broken window upon
returning home. 800 block of Fourth.
Officer took report for attempted
first-degree burglary and second-
degree criminal mischief.
6:52 p.m. - Margaret Levorn
Summers, 52, arrested for harassment
(domestic violence), 3531 Flannigan
Road.
9:56 p.m. - Caller reported
someone banging on the door of
Midway Market and then running
away when yelled at. Second caller
reported seeing a male break a
window, grab beer and run away,
3239 Main St.. Midway Market.
Officers responded, finding
approximately $400 in damage. It
did not appear the store was entered.
and the responsible party did not
believe anything was missing.
