Elgin, 20, arrested for third-degree
theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway.
Cited and released.
4:37 p.m. - Tyler Stephen
Griffin, 17, referred to Juvenile
Department for runaway, Weddle
Bridge.
7:29 p.m. - Caller reported
theft of bicycle, 1300 block of
45th. Report taken. Approximate
value was $80.
11 p.m. - Denise Marie
Bonneville, 26, arrested on Sweet
Home warrants for two counts
of failure to comply on original
counts of disorderly, two counts
of failure to comply on original
charge of second-degree criminal
trespass and failure to comply on
original charge of second-degree
criminal mischief, 1810 Main St.,
76 Station at 18th and Main. Held
for court the following day.
April 17
6:50 p.m. - Byron Gene
Marsh, 56, arrested for third-degree
theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.
Approximate value of stolen items
was $14.50. Cited and released.
7:43 p.m. - Caller reported that
a male just walked out with a Red
Bull without paying, 1540 Main
St., Safeway. Officer responded.
Unable to locate male. Value of
stolen item was $4.29.
April 14
4:33 p.m. - Single-Vehicle
crash. Driver was Vicki Paulene
Howard, 57, driving a 1998 Chevy
Malibu with an Idaho license plate,
39800 block of County Line Road.
Witnesses told the investigating
deputy that the vehicle was
traveling north on the downhill
slope of Brush Creek Road and
drifted onto the gravel, back onto
the pavement and rolled one time
before entering the opposite ditch
facing south with the nose pointed
down into the ditch. The driver
told the deputy at the hospital that
she took a drink of coffee from
a mug and took her eyes off the
roadway. She started drifting and
remembered sliding sideways. She
reported a pain in her neck. No
citations.
5:31 p.m. - Caller reported
wife and 16-year-old son fell into
the river, 41900 block of North
River. They were all out of the
water when rescue responded.
They were reportedly cold, wet
and fine.
April 13
11:23 a.m. - Caller reported
seeing a cougar the night before
at about 7:30 p.m., 29000 block of
Berlin Road.
