that it appears someone had shot a
wild turkey in the head. 500 block

during the night, support posts were
knocked from under the awning of

she had just caught two subjects
siphoning gasoline out of a vehicle
in the parking lot at Wiley Creek
Community. 5050 Mountain Fir St.
Subjects left area in a blue truck.
Officer responded but was unable
to locate the vehicle. Report taken
for criminal mischief and second-
degree theft.

1:23 a.m. - Caller reported
two suspicious looking males in
area looking into a house, Fourth
and Juniper. Both were dressed in
dark clothing and had a flashlight.
Second caller reported that while
walking his dog," he saw a male
subject dressed in black trying to
get into a vehicle in the upper part
of Sixth Avenue. Officer unable to
locate anyone in area or vehicles
that had been entered.
9:45 a.m. - Michelle Jessica
Whipps, 34. arrested on Sweet
Home warrant for failure to appear
on original charge of third-degree
theft. 22nd and Main. Cited and
released.
12:09 p.m. Kyle James
Elmer. 20. arrested for violating
• restraining order. 1300 block of
Nandina. Transported to Linn
County Jail.
3:43 p.m.- Two-vehicle crash.
10th and Main. Minor injuries.
No citations issued.Drivers were

Smith. 46.
5:09 p.m. - Caller reported
that her friend was choked by her
boyfriend and has red marks on
her neck.. 4600 block of Main. The
boyfriend took off on foot on a foot
trail. Officer took report for fourth-
degree assault and strangulation.
6:49 p.m. - Caller reported
theft of X-Box and two controllers
valued at $249. 1100 block of
Juniper. Report taken.

what appears to be a line down
or transformer sparking in the
area. 12th and Tamarack. Officer
responded. A pole fire on Pleasant
Valley was lighting up the sky.

traffic control for downed power
lines and pole fire.
