March 25 12:58 a.m. - Caller reported shoplifter fled on foot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer responded and took report for theft of $20 in items. 11:37 a.m. - Kern Andrew Smith, 16, referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco, Clark Mill and Green River. 4:03 p.m. - Savannah Kaylynn Nunn, 19, cited for failure to use safety belt, 10th and Dogwood. March 24 3:33 a.m. - Caller reported that her son's vehicle was just stolen, 1500 block of 52nd. He chased the subject who took it. He was able to locate the car, but keys to two vehicles were taken. Officer took report. 8:13 a.m. - Caller reported that several tenants' vehicles were entered during the night, 5300 block of Poplar. Report taken for two counts each of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, third- degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. 1:43 p.m. - Caller reports roommate's tires were slashed during the night, 5300 block of Poplar. Officer took report for second-degree criminal mischief. 3:29 p.m. - Donna Marie McDowell, 46, cited for speeding, 60-45, Main and 44th. 6:09 p.m. - Caller reported what sounded like gun shots on Ames Creek near the bridge. Officer responded and listened. Was unable to locate. March 23 10:28 a.m. - Everett Stanton Rynda, 40, cited for failure to wear seatbelt. Main and 15th. 4:59 p.m. - Two-vehicle crash, Highway 228 and First. Drivers were Martha Ann Turnbull, 77, and Jennifer Lue Cross, 31. Turn'bull transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics for evaluation. Vehicles cleared from roadway. No citations. March 22 5:30 a.m. - Caller reported theft of bicycle, 1300 block of 45th. Fresh tracks led away from the location. Report taken. 6:31 p.m. - Jess Allan Cox, 39, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, failure to use seatbelt and open container, Sixth off Oak Terrace. 7:31 p.m. - Caller reported that someone broke in through the back door and took a flat screen TV, 1000 block of North River. March 21 Multiple calls for wires down and fallen branches and trees throughout the day. 6:19 p.m. - Kelly Sue Faulconer, 39, arrested for third- degree theft, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released. March 20 12 a.m. - Jason Wesly Brown, 39, arrested for second- degree robbery, 1201 15th Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail. 9:37 a.m. - Caller reported theft of red 1992 Isuzu Rodeo, 1300 block of Clark Mill. Report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. 3:57 p.m. - Caller believes that she was going to be scammed this morning when a subject called to say that the caller's computer was full Of viruses and that the subject could fix it, 4600 block of Long. Caller gave out no personal information. 7:34 p.m. - Kevin Lee Hartsock, 48, cited for driving while suspended and drivin uninsured, 2405 Main St., Circle K. The crash was reported at 4:59 p.m. Vehicles were driven by Martha Ann Turnbull, 77, and Jennifer Lue Cross, 31.
