Ken Hakuta Green Peter Res.: 942.9 OBITUARIES Louvanna Monders Nov. 2.1924-Feb. 11. 2008 Louvanna Monders. 83. died on Feb. 11. 2008 at Regency Albany after a long illness. She was the youngest child of Frank and Mattie Lou Kinslow Haig- wood. She wasborn in Oklahoma on Nov. 2. 1924. She was married to William Reed in Oklahoma and had three sons. They later divorced. She married Dr. Jack Hartman of Sweet Home in 1956. Following his death, she moved to Lebanon and married Ernest Monders in 1963. She shared her voice singing with many organizations. She was a member of the Unit 51 Santiam Songsters and was in a national win- ning quartet competition. She was a favorite performer at the Chips 'n' Splinters. held during Sportsman's Holiday. She was a member of Sweet Home Church of Christ. and she taught Sunday School. She was an active member of the PTA in Sweet Home and served as Linn County PTA president and served on the state board. She was a long-term member of the Rebeka Lodge in Sweet Home and Lebanon and was an active member of the Democratic Party, serwng as an alternate delegate to the national convention in 1963. She had a special interest in'the American Legion Auxiliary, with a life membership of 48 years. LaDonna McAdams March 24, 1945 - Feb. 11, 2008 LaDonna Ruth McAdams, 62, died Feb. 11,2008 in Portland. She was born March 24, 1945 in Texarkana. Texas. She was a certified nurse's aide and loved t:o sew and crochet. Stark. 86, died Feb. 13, 2008 at Marian Estates in Sublimity. She was born April 28, 1921 in Ontario, Calif. to Robert and Bertha (Hildenbrand) Brooks. She loved to paint and took art classes at Linn-Benton Community College for a few years. She painted beautiful paintings, with animals be- ing her passion to paint. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping and fishing. She was very good at crafts and gardening. She attended Peoples Church of Salem until her health kept her from attending services. He was born March 9, 1954 in Corvallis to Clarence Leo and Grace Doris (Stinkie) Rund. He spent most of his life in Sweet Home. which he loved. He loved fishing, barbecuing with his family, and playing poker with his friends. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Stock of Lebanon: son.
